European Investment Bank approves EUR40m credit facility for Isavia

Isavia announced (19-May-2020) the European Investment Bankapproved the company's credit facility of EUR40 million. The facility is a final portion of a EUR100 million granted to the company in 2018. The funding is in addition to the ISK4 billion (EUR25.6 million) the Iceland government has already allocated to the company for increased share capital, conditional on certain investment projects at Keflavik Airport. In total, the company has secured more than ISK10 billion (EUR63.9 million) in new financing as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. [more - original PR - Icelandic]
