Etihad well placed with post-reccession business plan

Etihad Airways Regional General Manager Asia Pacific and Australasia, Cramer Ball, stated the carrier has emerged from the global recession with its business plan "intact", so it is "extremely well placed" (Business Times, 24-May-2010). Overall passenger numbers are up 11%, while premium passengers are up 5% and yield is improving.

Etihad Airways:
"We continued to invest throughout the worldwide financial crisis and our business plan remains intact. So, when we come out from the crisis, we will be extremely well placed to take advantage of that. We are seeing results far better than last year, business is coming back. Passenger volume increased by 11%, we have seen increase in premium passengers by 5% and our yield improving as well ... demand is coming back," Cramer Ball, General Manager Asia Pacific and Australasia.
