Edelweiss registering 'significant increase' in demand due to easing of quarantine rules

Edelweiss Air reported (31-Oct-2020) it recorded an increase in demand for the vacation destinations in its network. This is particularly noticeable for trips to the Maldives and the Canary Islands. For Edelweiss destinations, there is currently no longer a quarantine obligation on the return journey, leading to a "significant increase" in demand in recent days. In addition to the Dominican Republic, Cancun and Seychelles, the Maldives, Cape Town and the Canary Islands in particular are benefitting from this trend. As a result, Edelweiss is currently looking into further expanding its range of products, focusing on Costa Rica, Oman and frequency increases to the Dominican Republic and the Canary Islands.
