Domestic passenger numbers in Turkey increase 372% in past eight years

Turkey's Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated domestic passenger numbers in Turkey have increased by 372% and international passenger numbers by 77% over the past eight years (World Bulletin, 30-Oct-2010). He added there could be another airport constructed in Istanbul "in the near future".
