Delta Air Lines passenger numbers up 0.9% in Aug-2011, load factor improves

Delta Air Lines reports (06-Sep-2011) the following traffic highlights in Aug-2011:

  • Passenger numbers: 15.3 million, +0.9% year-on-year;
    • Revenue passenger miles: -0.3%;
    • Passenger load factor: 86.9%, +0.4 ppt;
      • Domestic: 86.5%, +0.7 ppt;
      • International: 87.5%, +0.1 ppt;
      • Latin America: 83.9%, -0.3 ppt;
      • Europe: 89.1%, +1.4 ppts;
