Copenhagen Kastrup Airport pax up 2%, domestic traffic continues to decline
Denmark's Copenhagen Kastrup Airport passenger numbers up 2% - traffic highlights for Nov-2012:
- Passenger numbers: 1,799,408, +2.2% year-on-year;
- Domestic: 174,917, -15.0%;
- International: 1.6 million, +4.4%;
- Aircraft movements: 20,335, -1.8%;
- Domestic: 2456, -28.8%;
- International: 17,879, +3.6%.
The airport also reported (12-Dec-2012) the following top destinations by passengers:
- London: 141,255, +1.7%;
- Stockholm: 119,315, +1.6%;
- Oslo: 111,709, +1.1%;
- Aalborg: 86,388, -13.8%;

Copenhagen Airport CEO Thomas Woldbye stated with domestic traffic remaining "significantly" lower than in the record year of 2011, the airport has "intensified our partnership with other Danish airports and the airlines to develop Danish domestic air traffic", adding its aim is to "build a demand for more frequencies on the various routes".
