China Southern expects first 787 in 3Q2012 at 'the earliest'

China Southern Airlines CEO Tan Wan Geng said the carrier expects to receive its first Boeing 787 in 3Q2012 at "the earliest" with the aircraft to be deployed on services from Guangzhou to Europe and the Americas (China Knowledge, 18-Jul-2012). The A380 is being used on the Beijing-Guangzhou and the Beijing-Hong Kong routes and "will be deployed on international long-distance routes soon".
