China Southern Airlines pax up 16% in Jan-2017, cargo down 3%

China Southern Airlines reported (14-Feb-2017) the following traffic highlights in Jan-2017:

    • Domestic: 8.7 million, +16.4%;
    • Regional: 199,060, -5.6%;
    • International: 1.4 million, +20.5%;
  • Passenger load factor: 82.2%, +4.0 ppts;
    • Domestic: 81.2%, +3.8 ppts;
    • Regional: 72.0%, -0.4 ppt;
    • International: 85.0%, +4.4 ppts;
  • Cargo volume: 138,500, -3.5%;
    • Domestic: 94,450, -5.4%;
    • Regional: 1500, -11.6%;
