British Foreign Office advises UK nationals to leave Syria on commercial services

UK's Foreign Office advised UK nationals to consider leaving Syria on commercial services, after it upgraded warnings about unrest there (AP, 20-Apr-2011). The Ministry stated it had changed its advice "in light of the deterioration in the security situation in Syria". Britain has not yet considered providing evacuation flights as commercial airlines are still running services as normal.
