Brazil’s domestic pax down 6% to 7.3m in Aug-2016, int’l pax down 2%

Brazil’s National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) reported (23-Sep-2016) the following traffic highlights in Aug-2016:

  • Passenger numbers:
    • Domestic: 7.3 million, -6.5% year-on-year;
    • International: 642,417, -2.3%;
  • Load Factor:
    • Domestic: 78.8%, +0.2 ppt;
      • Avianca Brazil: 82.6%, +2.3 ppts;
      • TAM: 78.8%, -2.3 ppts;
      • GOL: 78.2%, +2.1 ppts;
      • Azul: 78.1%, -0.1 ppt;
      • Passaredo: 66.0%, -6.7 ppts;
      • MAP Linhas Aereas: 45.9%, -2.2 ppts;
    • International: 85.5%, +2.0 ppts;
