Brazil domestic pax traffic up 7%, int'l down 3% in Aug-2012

Brazil’s ANAC reported (25-Sep-2012) the following traffic highlights for Aug-2012:

  • Passenger traffic (RPKs):
    • Domestic: +6.7% year-on-year;
    • International: -2.7%;
      • Gol/Varig: +4.6%;
      • Grupo TAM: -2.0%;
  • Passenger load factor:
    • Domestic: 72.8%;
      • Avianca Brazil: 74.6%;
      • Azul: 75.1%;
      • Gol/Varig: 72.3%;
      • Grupo TAM: 74.4%;
      • NHT: 42.3%;
      • Passaredo: 68.9%;
      • Sete: 61.8%;
      • Total: 89.8%;
      • Trip: 63.7%;
      • Webjet: 68.2%;
    • International: 79.0%;
      • Gol/Varig: 63.1%;
      • Grupo TAM: 81.4%.
