Bangkok Suvarnabhumi International announces Aug-2011 traffic surge

Thailand's Bangkok Suvarnabhumi International announced the following traffic highlights in Aug-2011:

Passenger numbers: 4,138,881, +16.9%;
- Domestic: 919,132, +14.9%;
- International: 3,075,786 , +12.2%;
Cargo volume: 108,032 tonnes, -3.6%;
- Domestic: 4107, -2.3%;
- International: 106,169, -1.6%;
Aircraft movements: 24,693, +10.4%;
- Domestic: 6263, -0.7%;
- International: 18,430, +14.7%.
