Austrian Airlines finalises work programme

Austrian Airlines announced (13-Mar-2012) it finalised its work programme designed to return the carrier to profitability. The airline reached "common understanding" with the Works Council Ground and GPA unions however was unable to reach a final agreement on collective agreements with the Works Council of the Board staff. The chair of the Austrian supervisory board Stefan Lauer will report the current state of the airline's restructuring efforts to Lufthansa's supervisory board on 14-Mar-2012. [more - originalr PR]

Austrian Airlines: “We have spoken to a total of 100 partners, 99 of them are supporting us. Unfortunately, we have not succeeded in convincing one of our partners at the company.
