ANA Holdings to establish third airline brand, Peach to enter air cargo business
ANA Holdings, under its transformative measures, announced (27-Oct-2020) plans to transform the group airline business model including the establishment of a third airline brand to cater to a wider range of customer needs in price range and services. Details as follows:
- All Nippon Airways (ANA): Position as the premium airline brand of the group;
- Peach: In addition to the existing leisure demand, expand the customer base to business travellers and families through wider cooperation in marketing with ANA through the addition of initiatives such as the exchange of ANA mileage to Peach points. Peach will also expand its medium haul international services with new A321LRs and enter the air cargo business in collaboration with ANA and ANA Cargo;
- New airline brand: To be established around FY2022 to raise profits by targeting demand for low cost, medium haul services to destinations in Southeast Asia and Oceania. The brand will be capable of responding to sudden changes in demand and begin operations quickly after its establishment.
