Ameco to continue development of new MRO capabilities in 2017

Ameco announced (22-Jan-2017) it intends to developed new products and capabilities to enhance its competitiveness, in order to keep pace with market needs. During 2017, the company plans the following enhancements:

• Upgrade Boeing 747-8 airframe capability to 4C check capability;
• Develop Boeing 777-300ER 2C check, A321 6C check and A330 8C check capabilities;
• Integrate base maintenance resources in Beijing and Chengdu, to providing customers with a uniform service experience across the two facilities;
• Develop repair capabilities for engine thrust reversers and enhance workforce composite material repair skills at the company's Beijing base;
• Accelerate capability development for Airbus A350, A320neo and Boeing 737 MAX platforms. [more - original PR]
