Amadeus: low-cost models and personlised services are key trends in TMC market
Amadeus MD Tony Carter, speaking at the CAPA Australia Pacific Aviation Summit, commented (06-Aug-2014) on "low-cost models" and "personalisation" as key trends in the travel management company (TMC) market. Mr Carter stated Amadeus is focussed on simplifying booking processes to enhance services for corporate end users. Low-cost models will allow companies to limit corporate travel expenditure, according to the MD. Nexus Point Travel travel GM James Highsted noted a low-cost model in large booking structures will require consolidated system to manage travel spend.
