Airlink suspends operations until Apr-2020, brings forward plans to use '4Z' flight code

Airlink (South Africa) suspended (25-Mar-2020) all operations, effective from midnight on 26-Mar-2020, in support of the South African Government's 21 day lockdown to contain the spread of COVID-19. The airline intends to gradually reinstate a new optimised schedule once the lockdown is lifted, with a target to resume operations on 20-Apr-2020. The airline's plan to operate independently using its own '4Z' flight code (instead of 'SA') will be brought forward from 11-Jun-2020 to 20-Apr-2020. [more - original PR]
