AirAsia looking to enter China market, in talks with Spring Airlines: report

AirAsia has reportedly approached Spring Airlines to discuss investment in a mainland China LCC. According to a National Business Daily report, AirAsia reportedly plans to establish a JV in China, holding 49% while its China partner will hold 51%. Commenting on the reports, Spring Airlines spokesperson Zhang Wuan said the carrier has always maintained contact with AirAsia but stressed that for now, the two carriers have no business cooperation.
