Air New Zealand released from US cargo cartel investigation

Air New Zealand announced (08-Jul-2011) the US Department of Justice has ceased its cargo cartel investigation against the airline. Air New Zealand stated it has defended its innocence for the past five years. The decision follows several successful outcomes for Air New Zealand, including when the carrier was found Nov-2010 of not being among airlines involved in another freight cartel fined by the European Commission.
