Air New Zealand passenger numbers up 6.9%- traffic highlights in Feb-2011:

- Short-haul: 923,000, +7.7%;
- Domestic: 700,000, +5.9%;
- Tasman/Pacific: 223,000, +13.7%;
- Long-haul: 143,000, +2.1%;
- Asia/Japan/UK: 58,000, -0.2%;
- North America/UK: 85,000, +3.7%;
- Short-haul: 923,000, +7.7%;
- Passenger load factor: 83.3%, +0.1 ppts;
- Short-haul: 82.5%, +2.5 ppts;
- Domestic: 83.3%, +2.3 ppts;
- Tasman/Pacific: 82%, +2.6 ppts;
- Long-haul: 83.8%, -1.4 ppts;
- Asia/Japan/UK: 83.7%, -0.3 ppt;

Air New Zealand: "Group-wide yields for the financial year to date were up 1.9% on the same period last year. Compared to last February, year to date short-haul yields were down 2.3% partly due to the new seats to suit product. Long-haul yields were up by 5.5%.
