Air Finland cancels nine services following filing for bankruptcy

Air Finland confirmed the cancellation of all services from 26-Jun-2012. According to Airline Route, the airline cancelled its nine routes in its summer 2012 schedule from Helsinki to Alicante, Antalya, Bodrum, Chania, Gazipasa, Hughada, Irakleion, Malaga and Rhodes. As previously reported by CAPA, the charter carrier, which was established in 2002, filed for bankruptcy on 26-Jun-2012, reportedly due to high fuel prices and low aircraft utilisation levels. [more - original PR]
