Air Canada announced (07-Feb-2013) the following financial highlights:

    • Operating revenues: CAD2841 million (USD2866.5 million), +5.3% year-on-year;
    • Operating income/loss: CAD46 million (USD46.4 million), compared to a loss of CAD98 million (USD98.9 million) in p-c-p;
    • Net income/loss: CAD8 million (USD8.1 million), compared to a loss of CAD60 million (USD60.5 million) in p-c-p;
    • Passenger numbers: 8.3 million, +5.1%;
    • Passenger load factor: 81.2%, +2.3 ppts;
    • Passenger revenue per RPM (Yield): CAD19.70 cents (USD19.88 cents), +1.2%;
    • Operating expense per ASM (CASM): CAD18.10 cents USD18.26 cents, -1.3%;
  • 12 months ended Dec-2012:
    • Operating revenues: CAD12,120 million (USD12,228.8 million), +4.4%;
    • Operating income/loss: CAD437 million (USD440.9 million), +144.1%;
    • Net income/loss: CAD131 million (USD132.2 million), compared to a loss of CAD249 million (USD251.2 million) in p-c-p;
    • Passenger numbers: 34.9 million, +2.9%;
    • Passenger load factor: 82.7%, +1.1 ppts;
    • Passenger revenue per RPM (Yield): CAD19.00 cents (USD19.17 cents), +1.8%;
