Air Arabia to add fourth destination in Russia

Air Arabia announced (02-Oct-2012) plans to launch Sharjah-Kazan service which will be its 78th destination and its fourth destination in Russia after Moscow Domodedovo, Yekaterinburg and Ufa. The airline also plans to increase Sharjah-Yekaterinburg frequency from twice to three times weekly. A date for the service launch and frequency increase was not detailed. Air Arabia Group CEO Adel Ali said, "The launch of our non-stop service to Kazan is a continuation of Air Arabia's promise to customer's to expand its Eastern European presence and offer value for money fares to multiple destinations in the Russian Federation. We have marked our expansion into Russia last October and with this new service, Air Arabia will further contribute to the ever strengthening social and economic ties between the UAE and Russia."
