ADP Ingénierie awarded series of design, engineering contracts for nine overseas airports

Groupe ADP reported (16-May-2019) construction and engineering subsidiary ADP Ingénierie was awarded a series of new international and French overseas contracts to provide design, research and technical assistance tasks to major international airports. Details include:

  • International contracts:
    • China: Assignment for realisation of study on traffic and airport capacity within the airport area encompassing Hong Kong and Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport in order to help with the development of the airport;
    • Taiwan: Simulation study assignment for the development of air traffic at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport;
    • Vietnam: Nine month review of expansion of Hanoi Noi Bai Airport and implementation of a masterplan for 2030 and 2050. This contract is in addition to those already won for the design of the new Long Thanh International Airport and the renovation of the existing Ho Chi Minh City Tan Son Nhat Airport;
    • Greece: Contract for supervision of the transition to standard III baggage handling systems at Athens International Airport in accordance with the new European standards;
    • Mexico: Support during the transformation of Mexico City Santa Lucia Airbase into a commercial facility, following the decision by the Mexican government to cancel construction of the New Mexico City International Airport. ADP Ingénierie will execute a masterplan for the airport and support assignments during the infrastructure design phase, and will take lead on the technical design of the passenger terminal, draft airport systems and airside infrastructure as part of a 15 month assignment concluding in Jun-2020;
