AAPA airlines report 11.8% rise in Oct-2010 pax

Association of Asia Pacific Airlines (AAPA) reports (24-Nov-2010) the following international traffic highlights for its member airlines in Oct-2010:

  • Passenger numbers: 15.9 million, +11.8% year-on-year;
  • Passenger load factor: 79.5%, +2.1 ppts;
  • Cargo traffic (FTKs): +16.6%;
  • Cargo load factor: 71.1%, +1.1 ppts. [more]

AAPA: "The double-digit traffic growth rates seen throughout 2010 are expected to gently ease back towards long term trends, but with the region still delivering dynamic growth, the overall outlook for Asian carriers for the coming year remains very positive," Andrew Herdman, AAPA Director General.
