700 aircraft grounded at Lufthansa Group

Lufthansa Group, via its official Twitter account, confirmed (24-Mar-2020) around 700 of its fleet of 763 aircraft are temporarily parked. The company added that Frankfurt Airport's northwest runway has been closed for the purpose of storing aircraft, effective 24-Mar-2020, with more to be grounded at Munich Airport.
