Sydney Airport General Manager Retail Glyn Williams said the new concept would provide T2 customers with a modern bar offering where they can sit, relax and enjoy a meal and a quality beverage before boarding.

"We're excited to welcome Beer DeLuxe as our signature gourmet bar at T2 as we continue to enhance the airport experience through new dining concepts that meet our customers' needs," Mr Williams said.

Designed by SJB, the space features the theatre of an open kitchen where customers can observe chefs preparing meals, while also showcasing the largest selection of tap beers at an Australian airport.

Customers are now enjoying a range of menu highlights including quick and easy small bites, as well as more substantial fare for breakfast, lunch and dinner, using fresh and ethically sourced ingredients and products.

Australian Avenue Co.'s Bruce Dixon said the Beer DeLuxe concept provided a fresh take on the traditional airport pub experience.

"I am very pleased to bring the Beer DeLuxe concept to Sydney Airport's T2, creating a space for customers to relax while enjoying a wide selection of quality beverages and delicious fare." Mr Dixon said.

Beer DeLuxe operates daily from 6am to 10pm.

  • Menu includes vegetarian, gluten-free and dairy-free options to cater for the diverse customer mix; and
  • Dedicated wine room where Moët & Chandon and Penfolds 389 are available by the glass, as well as international and Australian wines.
