HK Express Launches New 'HK Express Air + Ferry Pass' For GBA Travellers

Embark on a seamless journey with HK Express from Shenzhen Shekou to

HK Express destinations across the region, starting with Singapore, Kaohsiung and Tokyo

HK Express is pleased to introduce its new "HK Express Air + Ferry Pass", enabling customers to enjoy a seamless and affordable journey from Shekou Cruise Homeport in Shenzhen to Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA), where they can continue their travels aboard one of the airline's outbound routes. In collaboration with Chu Kong Passenger Transport Company Limited (CKS), the new transit service makes it easier than ever for customers in the Greater Bay Area (GBA) to access HK Express destinations.

"This new Air + Ferry Pass bundle provides a convenient, efficient and affordable way for our GBA customers to fly with us," said Mandy Ng, CEO of HK Express. "With the GBA market growing rapidly, we plan to expand our collaboration with CKS to include more departure points in the region so more travellers can enjoy our unique destinations."

When using the HK Express Air + Ferry Pass, customers will not only save time and energy, but they will also be exempt from paying Hong Kong Air Passenger Departure Tax. In addition, HK Express Air + Ferry Pass holders can check their baggage through to their final destination with HK Express for added peace of mind.

The flight and ferry bundle is now available to book with a single payment on the official HK Express website and WeChat MiniApp. The codeshare ferry service will commence operations on 28 April 2022, starting with connecting GBA travellers with HK Express flights to Singapore, Kaohsiung and Tokyo via HKIA, followed by more destinations when operations resumption is gradually in place. Customers must comply with local entry requirements, which may include pre- and post-travel testing, quarantine and submission of declaration forms.

As part of its ongoing commitment to protect the health of customers, HK Express has implemented several layers of protection, including HEPA filters onboard, enhanced cabin sanitisation measures and adjusted meal services. HK Express customers are recommended to use online check-in and e-boarding services for a smooth and safe journey. Face coverings must be worn in the airport, onboard and during disembarkation while maintaining social distancing.
