Sydney Airport pax up 9.4% in Jul-2010; AAI releases commercial revenue highlights

MAp (+1.4%) shares rose slightly on Thursday (19-Aug-2010). The following day the airport operator reported passenger numbers rose 2.1% year-on-year to 1.9 million at Brussels Airport in Jul-2010. MAp also released the following traffic highlights for Sydney Airport in Jul-2010:

  • Passenger numbers: 3.1 million, +9.4% year-on-year;
    • Domestic: 2.1 million, +10%:
    • International: 1.0 million, +7.8%.

Unlisted Airports Authority of India reported the following commercial revenue highlights at its member airports in FY2008/09 and FY2009/10:

  • FY2008/09:
    • Total commercial revenue*: USD246.7 million;
      • Bengaluru International Airport Ltd (BIAL): USD7.1 million;
      • Mumbai International Airport Ltd (MIAL): USD45.1 million;
      • Hyderabad International Airport Ltd (HIAL): USD18.8 million;
      • Delhi International Airport Ltd (DIAL): USD116.5 million;
      • Cochin International Airport Ltd (CIAL): USD26.3 million;
  • FY2009/10:
    • Total commercial revenue: 262.1 million;
      • BIAL: USD8.9 million;
      • MIAL: USD43.2 million;
      • HIAL: USD18.8 million;
      • DIAL: USD159.5 million;
      • CIAL: USD31.2 million.
