South Korea's Government may delay the privatisation of Incheon until 2011 due to delays in the revision of related laws. A government official stated: “The sales possibly may not take place this year, as the Bill to rewrite the law on Incheon International Airport is still pending in the National Assembly.” He added the delay will not affect the government’s plan to list a 15% stake of the airport on the Seoul exchange as part of the privatisation process. Meanwhile, shares for Korea Airport (-1.1%) lost ground.
China's Hainan Meilan International Airport (-0.8%) entered, on Friday (08-Oct-2010), into a financial services agreement with HNA Group Finance to continue to provide the group with deposit services, general credit services and other financial services.
