Frontier Airlines starts 2009 with a net loss of USD28 million. But heading in the right direction

Frontier reported a net loss of USD27.9 million in the seasonally slow month of Jan-09, after reporting net profits of USD18.8 million and USD2.9 million in Dec-08 and Nov-08, respectively. Excluding reorganisation items and mark-to-market fuel hedge transactions, Frontier would have reported a net loss of USD2.8 million.
