Copenhagen Airports (+0.2%) shares gained slightly on Friday (10-Sep-2010). On the same day the airport operator reported its busiest Aug-2010 and summer period ever:

    • Domestic: 220,800, +25.1%;
    • International: 1.88 million, +11.6%;
  • Aircraft movements: 22,175, +9.2%;
  • Roskilde Airport:
  • Passenger numbers: 2,619, -45.9%;
  • Aircraft movements: 6,651, -20.5%.

Fraport Group (+0.1%) traffic rose by 9.6% in Aug-2010:

  • Passenger numbers: 10.5 million, +9.6%;
    • Frankfurt Airport: 5.2 million, +6.6%;
    • Antalya: 3.4 million, +10.7%;
    • Burgas: 567,048, +15.4%;
    • Lima: 969,567, +23.5%;
    • Varna: 292,443: +0.6%;
  • Aircraft movements: 79,632, +8.0%;
  • Air cargo: 212,710, +17.1%
    • Frankfurt Airport: 188,397 tonnes, +18.0%.

Unlisted BAA’s London Heathrow Airport reported record Aug-2010 traffic, the airport’s second-busiest month on record. Traffic highlights in Aug-2010:

  • Passenger numbers: 10.6 million, -0.6%;
  • Aircraft movements: 84,019, +0.5%;
    • London Heathrow: 41,016, +0.4%;
    • London Stansted: 14,250, -7.7%;
    • Glasgow: 6,520, -1.1%;
    • Edinburgh: 9,851, +1.2%;
    • Aberdeen: 8,290, -0.9%;
  • Air cargo: 145, 669 tonnes, +13.7%;
    • London Heathrow: 127,200, +14.3%;
    • London Stansted: 16,199, +12.5%;
    • Edinburgh: 1,435, -16.5%.

Other European airport operators that gained on Friday include Aeroporto Toscano (+1.9%) and Autogrill (+0.8%). Meanwhile, Hochtief (-1.5%) and Vienna (-0.9%) lost ground.
