Boeing could resume flight testing of the B787 by the end of the week, according to a report in the Seattle Post Intelligencer. The manufacturer grounded the B787 test fleet in Nov-2010, following a fire on one of the six test aircraft.
The manufacturer has already confirmed it expects to miss the mid-Feb-2011 target for the initial B787 delivery after the fire. Boeing has not yet established a new delivery timetable for the aircraft. Shares in Boeing were down 0.4% on Monday. Other aircraft manufacturers also traded down, with only EADS showing positive momentum (+0.1%).
