Alpha Airports Group is in re-building mode after a turbulent
year in 2006 involving financial scandals and executive departures. Alpha reported
a 1.9% year-on-year increase in revenue for the 12 months ended 31-Jan-07. Revenue
from airport services rose 5%, compared to a 1% fall in revenue from airline
services. Operating profit however fell 61%, due to exceptional costs related
to last year’s "internal events", which led to a share suspension
and a restructuring of its airport services division in 2006.
