About

The Taiwan Civil Aeronautics Administration (CAA) is an agency that functions under the Ministry of Transportation and Communication. The agency is responsible for the regulation of all civil aviation activities in Taiwan. This includes oversight of: air traffic services, airport and flight information services, aircraft and aircraft maintenance, flight safety and licenses and certification procedures. The CAA is also responsible for operating passenger terminals at 18 of the country's airports, nine of which are owned by the CAA, with the remaining nine owned by the ROC military.
