Tianjin Cargo Airlines
Tianjin Cargo Airlines is a proposed start-up by HNA Group and Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone. With a registered capital of CNY700 million (USD117 million), the proposed cargo carrier will operate services to destinations in Northeast Asia, Europe and America from its hub at Tianjin International Airport using Boeing 737 freighter aircraft. HNA (via Tianjin Airlines [44.28%] and Suparna Airlines [12.86%]) and the Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone plan to expand its fleet to 50-100 aircraft within five years, with aircraft such as 767F and 747F. Tianjin Cargo Airlines has taken delivery of three Boeing 737F aircraft in Mar-2018. A proposed launch date of 02-May-2018 had been expected. A revised launch has not been advised.
