Samoa Airways is an international airline formed by the Government of Samoa in Nov-2017. The airline was established under a memorandum of understanding between the Samoan government and Fiji Airways, with the later providing assistance during initial stages including sales, operational and maintenance support. Samoa Airways operates scheduled services to New Zealand and Australia from Apia, replacing flights vacated by Virgin Samoa. It commenced service operations on 14-Nov-2017, with Apia-Auckland service.
