Air Pohang

Full Service Carrier
IATA: n/a
ICAO: n/a
Main hub: Pohang Airport
Country: South Korea

Air Pohang is a proposed Korean carrier to be based at Pohang Airport. The carrier plans to operate scheduled services to Gimpo and Jeju during its initial stages, before expanding operations to Ulleung, Heuksan, Yeosu and Incheon routes in the future. It expects to take delivery of three CRJ200 aircraft, and launch Gimpo and Jeju services later in Dec-2017, subject to AOC approval. Air Pohang received the first Bombardier CRJ200 on 14-Jul-2017. Subject to approval, the carrier will potentially become the one of six potential LCCs to be based in South Korea (in contention with other proposed Korean LCC start-ups - FlyYangyang, uSKY, Air Daegu, Aero K and Nambu Air).
