Air Europa Express
Air Europa Express is a Spanish regional carrier based at Valencia Manises Airport. Established in 1996, Air Europa Express was a regional subsidiary of Air Europa, before it ceased operations in Oct-2001. Globalia, operator of Air Europa, acquired Aeronova in Nov-2015 and repositioned the charter as its new subsidiary. Globalia introduced the Air Europa Express brand as a short- to medium-haul operator to complement Air Europa's long-haul operations. The new venture is part of Globalia's plans to compete with IAG's Iberia Express. Air Europa Express launched service operations on 11-Jan-2016, with a three times daily Valencia-Madrid service via Palma.
