Vueling shares rose 6.1% as the carrier's Board confirmed its merger with Clickair has been approved, to provide much-needed consolidation in the Spanish market. The agreement is subject to approval from Clickair's board. The new airline will operate under the Vueling name and be based in Barcelona and will be more than 45% controlled by Iberia.
