SINGAPORE (XFNews) - Singapore Airlines (SIA) said its overall load factor in December rose 70.9% from 68.3% a year earlier. Its passenger load factor during the month improved to 80.2% from 79.0% in December 2004 as capacity rose 2.7% year-on-year, it said.
Cargo load factor rose to 65.6% in December from 61.2% a year earlier.
SIA said that most of its routes' regions saw improvement in passenger load factors.
"The Americas continued to outperform, with strong demand for the Singapore-USA services, particularly for the non-stop services, with the load factor growing by 4.4 percentage points over the same month last year," SIA said.
