Singapore Airlines boosting Summer capacity, but freight demand weakens

Singapore Airlines (SIA) is adding a total of 17 frequencies

to nine destinations this Summer – down on the 30 frequencies it added

in last year’s Summer schedule (which included four new routes). This

Summer, Ho Chi Minh City and Hong Kong are the main beneficiaries, with four

new frequencies each (both destinations also enjoyed capacity increases this

time last year as well).
