Shenzhen Airport pax down 1%; GMR Infrastructure shares drop 4.3%

China's Shenzhen Airport (-0.9%) passenger numbers were down 1% in traffic highlights reported for Nov-2010:

  • Passenger numbers: 2.1 million, -1.1% year-on-year;
  • Cargo volume: 71,900 tonnes, +25.3%;
  • Aircraft movements: 17,600, +0.7%.

GMR Infrastructure (-4.3%), Hainan Meilan (-3.2%), Malaysia Airports (-0.8%) and Airports of Thailand (-0.7%) all lost ground on Wednesday (08-Dec-2010) while Abertis (+1.9%) and Auckland (+2.9%) gained ground.

Shares for airport suppliers were a mixed bag on Wednesday with LVMH (-1.7%), Dufry (-1.3%) and JCDecaux (-0.7%) down while Autogrill (+0.8%), GateGroup (+1.5%) and Hellenic DFS (+2.8%) gained slightly.
