Nominations open for CAPA Aviation Awards for Excellence 2015
CAPA is pleased to announce that entries are now open for nominations for the 12th annual CAPA Aviation Awards for Excellence.
CAPA is introducing a new format for the awards this year as well a new judging process and some new categories. There will be two sets of awards – one for the global industry followed by one for Asia-Pacific. There are eight award categories for each set, including five for airlines or airline executives and three for airports or airport executives.
Winners for the global awards will be announced at a Gala Dinner to be held in Helsinki on 7-Oct-2015 as part of CAPA’s World Aviation Summit. Winners for the Asia-Pacific awards will be announced at a Gala Dinner to be held in Singapore on 23-Nov-2015 as part of CAPA’s Asia Aviation Summit.
Regarded as the pre-eminent awards for strategic excellence in aviation, candidate organisations worldwide are invited to submit information about themselves, along with justification of why they should be rewarded for their performance over the past year. As appropriate, entries will be entertained for more than one category.
Note that there are two awards for each category, one for Asia-Pacific and one for the world. Candidates from Asia-Pacific can enter both and will be judged separately as there will be separate judging panels for the Asia-Pacific and global awards.

An aviation advisory panel will review the nominations received and recommendations from the CAPA and Heidrick & Struggles teams. There will be separate panels of at least six judges for both the global and Asia-Pacific awards.
