AirAsia now in a “better position”, expects strong load factors for 2010

AirAsia CEO, Tony Fernandes stated the carrier is now in a "better position", and expects the carrier's load factor to remain strong in 2010, after reporting a load factor of 75% for 2Q2009. According to Mr Fernandes, passenger numbers have been up, even during the puasa (fasting) month, ancillary income has continued to rise and the carrier is obtaining rights to a number of new destinations.
