The Brazilian Federal Government is reportedly moving to replace the Brazilian air accident investigation organisation, the Air Force's Centre for the Investigation and Prevention of Aviation Accidents (Cenipa), with a civilian agency. Three separate proposals have been put forward by the government, two of them involving an end to Cenipa and the establishment of a civilian accident investigation agency.
