NIKI expects a ”decent” profit in 2008

Austrian LCC, NIKI, reported a strong increase in traffic in 1H08, with passenger numbers rising 33% year-on-year. In the full year, NIKI expects to fly 2.5 million passengers. The carrier posted a net profit of EUR760,000 in 2006, EUR 3.5 million in 2007 and it expects a "decent" profit in 2008, despite difficult trading conditions.
