Kuwait's Ministry of Public Works recently stated it plans to award a USD1 billion contract for the design of Kuwait International Airport's (KIA) Terminal 2 in Aug-2009. The construction of the new terminal will increase capacity at the congested airport from 7 million to 20 million passengers p/a.
