Menzies Aviation and Aviation Handling Services opens in Bangui, Central African Republic and Bissau

Menzies Aviation announced the opening of two further stations

in conjunction with partners, Aviation Handling Services (AHS).

Menzies Aviation will commence operations at M'Poko International Airport, Bangui in the Central African Republic offering full handling services in Jul- 07 followed by Bissau, Guinea Bissau.

Bangui, the country's capital city, is served by Air France, Afriqiyah and Tchoumi Air Tchad among others. Bissau is served by TAP Air Portugal, Air Senegal and TACV Cabo Verde Airlines.

Menzies/AHS has agreed terms to offer a full portfolio of handling services. In the immediate future Menzies/AHS will be providing refresher training for staff and replacement ground support equipment where necessary.

Forsyth Black, Director Commercial Europe, Middle East and Africa at Menzies said "We are happy to deepen our relationship with AHS in Africa with the opening of these new stations, our sixth and seventh in the region".

Menzies and AHS are currently operating in Benin, Niger, Equatorial Guinea, Ghana and Senegal.
