Hyderabad Airport traffic hit by downturn in domestic passenger growth

Airports Authority of India (AAI) reports total passenger numbers at Hyderabad Rajiv Gandhi International Airport fell 21.3% year-on-year in Nov-08 to 470,604 (compared to former Hyderabad Begumpet Airport), owing to a domestic traffic slump of 28.3% to 342,055. International traffic however, continued to rise, as it has done since Jun-08, with a 6.3% increase to 128,549.
